The Oberhauserer Balloon is an innovative outdoor lamp available in three sizes: 30 cm, 70 cm, and an impressive 100 cm in diameter. This luminaire marks a milestone in modern lighting design, seamlessly combining advanced manufacturing technology with aesthetic excellence.

Manufactured using the powder bed concrete 3D printing process, also known as Selective Cement Activation (SCA), the Oberhauserer Balloon is created through an innovative technique in which a cement paste is selectively injected into a powder bed, allowing for the layer-by-layer formation of intricate and detailed structures. Unlike traditional methods, this process eliminates the need for formwork, enabling unparalleled design freedom and the realization of complex geometries.

The highly durable material used in the Oberhauserer Balloon ensures exceptional weather resistance, making it ideal for outdoor use. By leveraging intelligent manufacturing technologies, the production process is both resource-efficient and environmentally sustainable. 3D concrete printing optimizes material usage, minimizes waste, and significantly reduces the ecological footprint.

Available in 3 sizes: 30 cm, 70 cm, and 100 cm. The Oberhauserer Balloon offers versatile applications, from subtle decorative accents to bold, statement lighting installations. The largest model, with a diameter of 100 cm, is currently the largest known 3D-printed lamp made of cement, setting a new benchmark in lighting design.

The Oberhauserer Balloon represents the perfect fusion of cutting-edge 3D printing technology, sustainable production, and exceptional design. Utilizing the powder bed concrete 3D printing process, this luminaire redefines outdoor lighting—combining durability, aesthetics, and environmental consciousness. With its record-breaking 100 cm variant, the Oberhauserer Balloon establishes a new standard for 3D-printed cement lamps, exemplifying how technological innovation and sustainability can harmoniously coexist.
